Gonadorelin Description1-5
Gonadorelin is a synthetic decapeptide that shares the identical amino acid sequence with naturally occurring gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Both consist of 10 amino acids arranged in the sequence pyro-Glu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH₂.
Clinically, gonadorelin is used as a diagnostic agent following pituitary surgery. In males, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) stimulate testosterone and sperm production. In females, FSH and LH are involved in regulation of the menstrual cycle and ovulation. Gonadorelin has a half-life ranging from approximately 2 to 40 minutes.

GnRH is made in the hypothalamus and functions to stimulate the release of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) from the anterior pituitary. This increase in FSH and LH may stimulate the production and release of testosterone by the male testes and estrogen by the female ovaries and placenta.

Store refrigerated at 36°F to 46°F (2°C – 8°C). Discard 28 days after mixing. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
